This was a project exploring hand building and glazing within ceramics.

 

Each piece represents a different aspect of ceramics:

Hand building; The cow figurine is my attempt at handing building and using glaze in a fluid, organic way.

Coil pot; The large coil pot is my attempt at creating a flowing, symmetrical form and the interaction between a shiny and matt glaze.

Thrown tea cup: The small tea cup in my attempt at throwing something functional.
